Program design approach

The structure integrates:

  1. The eight ICF Coaching Supervision Competencies across Foundation, Process, Client Reflection, and Group Supervision domains
  2. A multi-layered reflective supervision framework that enables participants to explore coaching work through multiple interconnected perspectives, including:
  • Client dynamics and patterns
  • Coaching interventions and decision-making
  • The relational field between coach and client
  • The coach’s internal responses, assumptions, and biases
  • The live supervisory dialogue and reflective space
  • The supervisor’s own awareness and use of self
  • Broader systemic, organizational, and cultural influences

This approach supports coaches in moving beyond linear problem-solving toward deeper reflective inquiry, strengthening their ability to work with complexity, patterns, and systemic dynamics in their coaching practice.

Scope of Application

The program is designed to support supervision across multiple coaching contexts, enabling participants to apply reflective supervision principles in:

  • 1:1 Coaching engagements (individual client work and developmental depth)
  • Group Coaching environments (collective dynamics, shared learning, and facilitation complexity)
  • Team Coaching contexts (systemic patterns, stakeholder dynamics, and organizational influences)

This ensures participants are able to work with supervision at both individual and systemic levels of coaching practice.

Learning experience & verification

The program spans 30 hours (28 Core Competency + 2 Resource Development). Total: 30 hours (All synchronous)

Learning is verified through:

  • Continuous participation and reflective dialogue
  • Structured reflective journaling and workbook submissions
  • Peer supervision practice
  • Supervision case presentations applying the framework to real coaching scenarios
  • A final integrative reflection demonstrating depth of learning and application

This ensures participants actively demonstrate:

  • Reflective capacity (Competency 6)
  • Developmental growth (Competency 7)
  • Ability to work with systems and context
  • Ethical awareness and professional judgment
