Using cards at any stage of the coaching conversation from contracting and defining the session outcome, to creating a rich and detailed picture of the desire outcome or even helping formulate next steps. These cards are ideal for clients who are uncertain, offering a way to go beyond traditional metaphor or questioning strategies. They work well with clients who feel stuck and need help to “see” a way forward. They can also refresh your approach with long-term clients. Additionally, some cards are designed for clients to use independently outside of coaching sessions, helping them stay present.

Content of the Serendipity Engine coaching cards

The physical deck in presentation box contains the following

• Pocket guide with basic instructions for use and link to video instructions on the creators website
• The set includes 35 reflection cards, each featuring an image, a quote, and a question. The thoughtful combination of questions, proverbs, and images stimulates reflection, drawing on the wisdom of Taoist, Buddhist, and First Peoples traditions, along with the creator’s own experiences as a farmer, teacher, and coach.
• 18 practice cards containing mindfulness, guided meditations, breathing exercises and other activities that offer the option to help coaches stay centered outside the coaching session
• 2 blank cards to allow you to add your own reflection or practice card, or use as a gift card
