This game is one of our exclusive resources designed to help when coaching a manager, so you can grow your coaching business, develop your skills and succeed as a professional coach.

This virtual card game consists of:

12 Illustrated Goal cards
40 Question Cards divided into 4 themes to help Managers achieve their professional goals:

  • Desired situation – 8 cards
  • Ability and options – 15 cards
  • Action plan – 8 cards

Plus… Full instructions on how to use the game.

To help you support individual Managers or groups of Managers work on or develop one or many of these professional goals, the questions have been clearly set out within the four themes. This virtual card game can be delivered by a professional coach or anybody supporting Managers: Executives or Directors, Consultants, Trainers, Human Resources (HR) and Talent Development.

Here are five of the professional goals included in this game:

  • Communicate better
  • Develop as a leader
  • Delegate more
  • Learn to speak in public
  • Improve work / life balance

How to use the virtual card game:

We suggest using this three step process for playing the game with a Manager or group of Managers:

1 / From the 12 Goal cards, ask the Manager or member of the group to choose a professional goal. If the goal they want to work on is not there, you can write it on a separate piece of paper.

2 / Now they tap on a Question card to turn it over and answer the question. Start with the 1st question or pick any card at random.

3 / The objective is for them to answer all of the questions and work on the chosen professional goal. You can write the answers down if it helps the Manager or group of Managers work on their chosen goal, so they can answer the questions at a pace that suits them.

This game will also help you as a professional coach practice your open questioning:

1 / Choose a theme (Current situation, Desired situation, Ability and options or Action plan)

2 / Tap on a Question card to turn it over (in order or randomly) and read each question out loud to help memorize them

3 / The objective is for you to develop your open questioning technique and learn all 40 questions
